The USNA Alumni Association Texas Gulf Coast Foundation here in Houston is hosting the third annual Top Gun Fundraiser on Jul 9th from 4-9pm! Over 600 people have experienced the stories, laughter, pictures, games, music, and of course beach volleyball that the Top Gun Benefit provides while raising over $10,000 for local veterans charities allowing them to continue their missions. With your help we are looking to make this year the best yet!! This has been a remarkable event that has integrated the community members at large with the local veterans. The proceeds go to two handpicked local veterans’ organizations, Team Red, White, and Blue (RWB) and the Lone Star Veterans Association (LSVA).

 As a 501(c)3 Organization, your entry or donation is tax deductible, and all proceeds will go to charity.

Veterans serving on or after September 11, 2001 are the primary reason we exist to serve. Post 9/11 members include those currently serving, veterans of any branch, and those awarded an Afghanistan and/or Iraq Campaign Medal, GWOT Service and/or Expeditionary Medal, and/or a National Defense Medal awarded after September 11th. 

• Honorably discharged, retired or medically retired from any branch including Federal Reserves and State National Guard.

• Must provide a legible copy of your DD-214, Member Copy 4, NGB-22, Texas Drivers license with Veteran designation, OR VA ID card. 

• Currently serving members may apply with a copy of your CAC Card, or signed letter of service from your commander.

If you do not have a copy of any of the required service records, you may obtain a Service Verification letter from the VA via Ebenefits. To download the letter, go to Ebenefits.va.gov -> VA Letters -> Service Verification. You can download the letter and upload it during the sign up process or email it to [email protected].

You do not have to be present to win. Notification of prize selection will go out first via email for confirmation. Following notification and validation, notice will be released of the winners and their names via the LSVA website and social media outlets.
